Delving into the centre where emotions and sex intertwine, Dion explores the Sacral Chakra in “Sacred Sacrum”. Through vibrant watercolour paintings adorned with oil pastel drawings, Dion narrates a journey from sexual disempowerment to the ongoing restoration of sacred sexuality. 

Sanctifying queerness in a world where it is often deemed unnatural, Dion reimagines the womb as a safe space of rebirth. Exploring the themes of giving and receiving, the pieces aim to initiate a healing dialogue within both the artist and the audience. 

By reflecting on his experiences with sexual trauma, romantic rejection and unsafe sexual practices, Dion releases the heavy energy that we store and trap in the sacrum through his empowered watercolour characters.
